The Gender Mainstreaming Programme (GIP)
Introduction
While the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) on Gender equality and women empowerment is a clear indication of the importance world leaders attach to gender issues, the attainment of all other MDGs largely depend on gender responsive policies and programmes.
Like all countries, the Federal Government of Nigeria, as well as the government at the State levels, are ensuring that no stone is left unturned in the attainment of these goals, which they, along side other world leaders, have set for the development of their countries.

Kate Bee Foundation (KBF) for gender sensitive development believes that gender equality is the bedrock of human development. The Foundation is therefore committed to working with decision makers to ensure the realization of gender equality goalss.

Goal: To contribute to gender and development in Rivers State, in particular, and the Niger Delta region as a whole.
Target audience:
Decision makers, religious leaders, traditional authorities and beneficiaries of KBF grants.
